PRIVATE COMMISSIONS
"Every commission starts with a conversation. We sit down, talk about what matters to you, and decide whether we’re the right fit. From there, nothing comes from a package or a formula. The work is shaped around your story, your space, and what you want it to become."

STEP 01

IT STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION
Tell me what you have in mind—even if it is only a feeling, a person, a place, or an idea you have not completely figured out yet. We’ll sit down, talk it through, and decide whether we’re the right fit. If we are, I’ll put together a clear proposal covering the work, the timeline, the finished pieces, and the full cost before anything is signed or exchanged.
STEP 02

WE GIVE THE IDEA A SHAPE
Once the commission is secured, we begin working through what it needs. That could include location, timing, wardrobe, travel, access, changing weather, the scale of the finished work, or how it will live in your space. A portrait and a landscape may require completely different plans. That is the point. Nothing is pulled from a template.
STEP 03

THE WORK BEGINS
This is where the plan becomes real. For a portrait, it may mean a fully guided session with direction when you need it and room for the moments we could never plan. For another commission, it may mean returning to a place, waiting on the light, traveling, or chasing the right conditions. Whether it takes an afternoon or several months, the work moves at the pace the commission requires.
STEP 04

FROM PHOTOGRAPH TO FINISHED WORK
Once the photographs are ready, I carefully edit and curate the strongest work before we review it together. From there, we choose the photograph or photographs, size, finish, and presentation that feel right for you and your space. The commission is complete when the work is in your hands or where it belongs—not sitting forgotten on a screen.
